Xavier University School of Medicine at Aruba is located in the heart
of Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba. The campus is right in
downtown, walking distance from all basic amenities and central bus
station.

Most of the Governmental building, shopping malls, and the fast food
chains are in walking distance of the campus. One of the biggest
advantages is its proximity to the central bus station, which allows
access to all parts of the island. The life style is quite
similar to North America with all familiar fast-food restaurants and shopping
outlets.

XUSOM at Aruba campus consists of over 40,000+ square feet of
facilities, with nighttime and weekend security officers on site.
The campus encompasses a vibrant multicultural atmosphere.

| Technology |

The Xavier I.T. Department makes a bold statement by allowing our
students and faculty to have access to brand new computers equipped
with flat screen monitors, LCD projectors
in every classroom, and exclusive wireless fast-access internet
connection throughout the campus. Our I.T. personnel will even help you
register your personal laptop on our servers so that you can surf the
web at your leisure within just a few minutes. All students are
provided with a school email account. This email account
becomes the main communication link between students, faculty, and the
administration. All results, notices, invoices, and correspondence are
done through this email account. We are presently updating programs, which
will allow the students to have an access to all lectures, class
schedules and lecture notes online.

| Laboratory and Cadaver |
|
|
The laboratories for Basic Medical Science courses are
held regularly at the campus. The anatomical dissections are performed
at the Dr. Horacio E. Oduber Hospital. Students are also given exposure
to Clinical Sciences as they take their Physical Diagnosis course.

| Immigration and Housing |
|
|
The housing arrangements are made by each student. XUSOM can provide students
with contact information of housing managers. Immigration issues
should be addressed to the NY & Aruba Office.

| Health Insurance |
|
|
Health Insurance is mandatory to students through Xavier University School of Medicine at Aruba.
