Dear Clinical Students,

Graduation will be held at the Atlanta World Congress Center on Saturday June 12th, 2010 at 5 P.M. The Atlanta Congress center is located at:

 

285 Andrew Young International Boulevard, NW Atlanta, GA 30313

 

Both the Academic Affairs and Clinical Science Department would like to inform you about Graduation Requirements for 2010.

 

You must have completed the following:

 
  • All Core Rotations must be completed by June 1st, 2010.
  • You may have 2 elective rotations outstanding before the graduation ceremony. You will have no more than 8 weeks after graduation to complete those rotations.
  • You must be financially cleared by the Bursar Department by May 7, 2010
  • Your Clinical Student File must be complete.
 

Please remember to file for graduation by doing the following:

 
  1. Click on Current Students --> Online Forms --> Graduation/Diploma Request
  2. Please check with the registrar that this request is received by e-mailing the department (registrar@xusom.com)
  3. There is a $500.00 graduation fee which must be paid by May 7, 2010 along with all outstanding balances.
 

The graduation fee includes diploma, ceremony, ECFMG final certification and two tickets for the banquet that evening. Any additional tickets require an additional $50.00 per ticket and must be purchased before May 7, 2010. There is no limit to how many family members may attend the graduation ceremony.

 

Xavier University graduation regalia are provided by Jostens. Students are responsible for purchasing their own regalia. Students may purchase cap, gown and tassels on the Jostens website. Jostens' orders take approximately five (5) weeks to process; therefore students must order online regalia by April 17, 2010.

Honors designations will be made on May 1, 2010. Honors students will be informed on May 1, 2010.

 

Important to note: Honor's Cords are only to be worn by honors students. Student's who show up to Graduation with the incorrect regalia will not be permitted to participate.
