Xavier University School of Medicine at Aruba may accept transfer
students each semester. As an institution, we believe in the
freedom of education and that the student should be given the best
education possible. |

Our Admission's Department takes special interest in those who choose to transfer to XUSOM at Aruba from another program.
Transfer students are responsible for all previous medical school transcripts. |

Transfer students must complete 48 weeks of clinical clerkships to graduate from Xavier University School of Medicine at Aruba.

| Clinical Rotations |
 |
- Clinical Rotations are to begin after Basic Science courses are completed.
- You are required to pass USMLE Step 1 in order to begin your Clinical Rotations
- All students transferring into the clinical clerkship program need to complete the following:

- Official Application
- $49.00 USD Non-refundable application fee (made payable to Xavier Admissions)(accounting@XUSOM.com)
- Current Resume or CV
- Officialor / Copy of transcripts from all institutions attended
- Two letters of recommendation (written by Physicians and other Professionals only)
- Official Interview - to be scheduled upon completion and return of all above documents

| Step II |
 |
- Eight passport sized photos (two should be sent with Official application)
- Clear copy of your passport information/with picture page
- Immunization record ( MUST include recent MMR, Hepatitis B Series, and
TB); PPD cannot be over 12 month old at any point during the rotations
- USMLE board score report(s)
- Completed Clinical Rotation Request Form
- Complete Background check release form
- Verification of US citizenship, permanent residency, or other visa status;
a Work Authorization Number (WAN) is required for the Canadian citizens

Please make sure all the documents and original transcripts are
submitted at the time of the application for the transfer. It is the
applicant's responsibility to obtain the original transcripts from the
previous Medical School. |
